Day 1 : Mekelle to Erta Ale Base
Drive to Dodom base camp. Rest and briefing.
Day 2 : Erta Ale Crater Trek
Night trek and crater rim overnight with lava lake viewing.
Day 3: Sunrise and Drive to Hamadela
Sunrise at Erta Ale. Descend and drive to Hamadela camp via Afar village visit.
Day 4 : Dallol Day One
Pre-dawn Dallol visit. Afternoon rest and stargazing.
Day 5 : Dallol Day Two and Salt Lake
Early second Dallol visit for different light conditions. Karum salt lake and camel caravan.
Day 6 : Return to Mekelle
Early morning departure. Arrive Mekelle by midday.
